Fabulous creamware jug, 6 3/4 inches tall, combed slip with an applied medallion of Admiral Rodney and swags in green stating "success to Admiral Rodney and is fleet." Perfect condition.
Admiral Lord George Rodney was perhaps the most successful commander in the British navy in the 1760's, 70's and 80's. He accounted for 70% of the American losses during the Revolutionary War.
